That sort of answers my question, I guess. Something to keep in mind is that the game is in early beta still, so it's going to be a little rough around the edges. You could be reading this line of text in the future and the game could be the greatest piece of entertainment ever released, or you could be reading it right now and the game could be kind of lovely with a couple of good ideas implemented poorly, much like my posting. It fluctuates wildly depending on the update. Starbound is a videogame created by Chucklefish Games that is fun and good, or at least has the potential to be.
As more people play the newest version and upload screenshots, I'll update the OP. Note: pictures are mostly out of date, though they're still accurate enough to represent the game as it is now.
